Cupcakes testing

I was testing the cups for cupcakes..and just found out the way on how to make sure that the cups are not loose afterwards. Lame rite?!

(the trick is to make sure sure you put enough batter in each cup so that the cupcake rise right to the top edge of the cup)

Doll cake for Delisha's 2nd birthday party

Last week (30 April 2011) merupakan birthday anak kawan aku.

Aku sempat pergi pagi tolong prep masak aje sebab tghri dah kena balik jb (partinya belah petang). But I've prepared something special for decha!

it's a doll/barbie cake ;D

base layer: chocolate cake with chocolate frosting

for the base, I've added chopped almonds and chocolate chip

before covering it with melted chocolate

2nd layer: chocolate cake again, with pink frosting

3rd layer: white cake, chocolate frosting

4th layer: chocolate cake, pink frosting

5th layer:white cake,chocolate frosting

6th layer(the top are just an assemble of extra bits of cake):chocolate cake

crumble coat and covered it all with pink frosting. cool in the fridge for a while

add the base beads for gown's design

and proceed with the rest...

finally put in the doll (this one from Daiso ;p) and start piping the bodice

Chocolate Oreo Cake

Last week aku buat chocolate oreo cake. First time buat.

Agak sloppy tapi mmg best resepi kek ni. Try it out!

lay oreo-cream-side-up for the bottom layer

whip some oreo crusted filling

kiri tu bottom layer, kanan tu atas dia

letak filling kat tengah-tengah

cover it all up with chocolate icing. sloppy gile! nanti kene try buat lagi sampai berjaya p(^o^)q

Marble cake

dah tiga minggu straight aku buat kek waktu weekend. heh.

kali ni sebab nak g umah dila & jumpa wawa.

THE NY Times Choc Chip Cookie

Sebenarnya semalam sementara menunggu kek dalam oven, tu aku tlh prepare dough choc chip cookie.

It's the NY Times Chocolate Chip cookies which I've read about for so many times.

There's all these people saying that these are the BEST choc chip EVER!

After preparing the batch, we have to rest the batch in the refrigerator for 24hr to 36 hr.

Hari ni balik keje baru aku bakar sikit..and it is DELICIOUS.

Dip it in a cold glass of milk...OMG

Right now finishing baking the whole batch.

The house just have the heavenly smell of baked choc chip cookie wafting thru~~~~

White cake aka Butter cake

Aku ni jarang buat white cake. slalunya mesti cokelat cake.

Tapi sebab nak try resepi baru ni, so redah ajelah...

simple white cake. Manis semacam aje aku rasa..kalo nak buat lagi kena kurangkan gula dia

Coincidently,just a few days before pun aku baru aje wujudkan gabungan nama 'alya' ni. so, sort of surprised bile ada orang namakan anak meka alya. famous gak alya ni yer. i like it.

fyi, alya means ketinggian.

anyway, ada beli barang sket. niat nak wat puding kustard. So, here it is ;D
