The kids from Bridge to Terabithia all grown up

watched hunger games last sunday. a good one for me. Furthermore, major breakthru for Josh Hutcherson!
demm I love that kid ever since Bridge to Terabithia!
him and Annasophia Robb (read entry before) are gr8 together :)

Jess & Leslie

AnnaSophia is the young Carrie Bradshaw!

The Carrie Diaries: major tv drama going out this yr, based on the early life of Carrie from the Sex&The City show.

And Josh, he's all grown up playing Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games movie.

Love him as Peeta! this franchise is going to be huge. I'm saving up to buy all three books at the same time ;p

major major breakthru year for both of them.

they're already well known but these projects may be the game changer for them.

can't wait for catching fire!

The late Steve Jobs, part Arab?

Tahukah anda Steve Jobs tu ada keturunan Arab? Aku baru tahu hari ni. Aku tak pernah terasa nak check pun sebab aku bukannya peminat/pengguna Apple (setakat ni lah) dan takda follow news ttg dia (huh.stupidnya alasan).

So hari ni penceramah tanya "tahukah anda siapa anak luar nikah Abdul Fattah Jandali yang mewujudkan Macintosh?".
Aku blur kejap. Aku tau Macintosh=Apple, tapi setau aku founder Apple tu Steve Jobs dengan sorang lagi mamat. Siapa pulak anak pak arab tu kan?
duh..rupanya Steve Jobs...

So, hasil kajian internet aku: read here, here and here.

Breaking Dawn's A Thousand Year

Christina Perri's A Thousand Year, an official Breaking Dawn soundtrack is out.
There's two version of the music video. One is the official music video one with scenes from BD Part1 while the other one is the official lyric video.

Check out the cool lyric video below and the mv here.

The problem with this song is the line "I have died everyday waiting for you". Subconciously, it's sending a wrong message out. Why should I die waiting for someone? It's not worth it. More on this analysis later.

Ok, back to the twilight saga, I've never actually got caught in the frenzy. Watched the first movie and it's pace is too slow for me while the books never intrigue me as the fonts are too small.hah! I don't have a problem with the hype, but what's up with the twihaters? Why so much hate?

Music to my ears

I've met Greyson Chance thru his paparazzi vid on Youtube last year.

Then it turns out that he was the singer of Waiting Outside The Line (which I once ask wawa who sang that song).

Then I've started raiding his vids on Youtube.

Then it turns out that he was discovered by Ellen.

And this year, he released a full album "Hold On 'Till The Night".

Mind you, he's just 14 this year.

Such a talented boy.

Enjoy this vid of a very young GC...

like always, book-to-movie is always different from what you think it should be.
and I've read this one for a few times before.
the biggest disappointment? willy wonka himself.
from my own deduction, wonka is someone really old but very energetic, filled with warmth and have a joyful personality.
however...the wonka played by johnny depp is a really annoying man. he seems really cold and doesn't show much enthusiasm.
a big letdown (for me) because it's willy wonka!!!oh well...you live with what you get

charlie however is a different story...he's closer to the image in my head. he's sweet, attentive to his family, have a big heart. cheers to charlie

smile (^----------------------------^)

don't you just love this???

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed, sing like bird
Dizzy in my head, spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Ohh, you make me smile
